THE ARTISTS BEHIND SOLOVEIKO SONGBIRD
Svitlana Reinish
Art, Cultural Director and Animation Design
Aka. Reinish, is a Ukrainian media artist, director, animator and theatre designer.
Svitlana creates projection mapping artworks, visuals for theatre performances, and classical music concerts. She performs as a VJ and participates in light and music festivals worldwide.
Having a fundamental classical art education, Svitlana uses the acquired knowledge in her work with new media, bringing the aesthetics of fine art into the digital world.
She was a jury member of the 3D mapping contest at Kyiv Lights Festival in 2019 and gives lectures on mapping and VJing.
For this project Svitlana played the role of researcher and advisor on Ukraine, working with Amigo and Amigo to create inflatable sculptures. She also worked with BlckBox to create the animation.
Anton Dehtiarov
Music Composer
Anton Dehtiarov is a sound producer, film music composer and music artist from Kyiv, Ukraine.
He graduated from Kyiv National Music Academy as a piano and organ performer, and started composing his own music in 2013. Since then he has released 4 full-length albums and 3 EP's as Ptakh, a solo electronic music project as well as 1 LP and 1 EP as a member of Ptakh_Jung duo.
He has composed music for 6 full-length feature films and documentaries, as well as 4 short films.
Anton describes his music as a blend of academic harmonies with a techno approach.
For this project, Anton created the music composition for the inflatable nightingales as well as for the animations.
BLCKB0X
Animation Design
BlckBox is a Kyiv based new media art studio, specialising in making VJing, multimedia installations and stage design for festivals and events. With innovative technologies and progressive worldviews, BlckBox creates high-quality content that makes an impressive audiovisual show.
For this project BlckBox created the animation collaborating with Svitlana who provided the research and cultural advice, and Anton who provided the music.
Amigo & Amigo
Producer, Art Direction, Fabricator + Social Media management
Amigo and Amigo is an interactive lighting art studio that creates public artworks with the aim to capture people’s imaginations. With a desire to create art that builds a sense of community, Amigo and Amigo transforms physical spaces into memorable experiences, with real audience interaction built into their artworks.
For this project, Amigo and Amigo played the role of Production, and Project Management. Working with Svitlana to design the inflations, Anton to embed music into the artwork, and with M3 Industries for the installation process.

M3 Industries
Art Installer and Fabricator
Aaron Smith is the face behind M3 Industries, and exists to ‘make it well’. Perhaps a simplistic statement but one he holds dear.
With an eye for detail and dedication to getting things just right, M3 Industries spend their time helping artists and designers to bring their ideas into reality.
For this project, M3 Industries is the structural engineering manager, on-site project manager, installer of the inflatable sculptures, and fabricator of signage and metal structures.
